Welcome to Tincknell Fuels
Covid – 19 update
We continue to be fully operational across all our Depots and we are taking the necessary steps to protect all our staff and customers
As part of our continuity plan we have implemented certain members of our staff to work from home enabling us to continue to deliver fuel to our customers. Our contact numbers will remain operational during our normal hours of business.
We are currently experiencing very high volumes of inbound calls across all of our depots and offices. Please bear with us during this period.
If you have placed an order we will either
- Text you before we are due to make the delivery
- Call you to let you know that we will be making your delivery
- Or make the delivery at the earliest opportunity
We are working hard to fulfil all our orders and will continue to do so as long as we are able.
Lead times are a little longer than normal but at the present time there is plenty of fuel for all our regular customers so there is no need to ‘top-up’ or order if you don’t need any. Please keep regular checks on your fuel and allow up to 2 weeks for us to deliver.
Tincknell Fuels recognises that we are operating in an unprecedented situation. In the light of Covid-19 and efforts around the world to control its spread we are informing you about the measures that we are putting in place. Our priority is to look after our employees and customers. The company recognises that it must protect the elderly and most vulnerable members of our community. This communication outlines what we are doing at present to protect such people and how we will operate moving forward.
The Management of Tincknell Fuels has been meeting regularly to discuss the COVID-19 outbreak and the advice given by the government. The team has focussed primarily on protecting the safety of its staff, customers and suppliers whilst at the same time building continuity plans to ensure the continued delivery of our products and services.
We are taking orders over the phone and via our website. Deliveries are continually being made to both our domestic and commercial customers. Our drivers and staff have been recently briefed to take measures that seek to minimise the risk of catching and spreading the Covid-19 virus. In doing so we have asked our drivers to practice “distancing” at the point of delivery. This means that our drivers will limit their contact, aiming at all times to keep a safe distance away from the customer.
Inevitably, the COVID-19 pandemic will have an effect on our normal business operations and we will make decisions based on government advice, priority need and vulnerable customers.
FINALLY, THANKYOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE…………
We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding. We are here to help and we are doing our best to maintain the service you have come to expect. However, there may be times when this service slips over the coming weeks, due to staff shortages.
